Strat Assistant alternatives
Strat Assistant, by rickyzcarroll, is one of the first free TheStrat indicators many traders install on TradingView. It numbers each candle, colors it, lists the Strat combos that currently apply, and shows timeframe continuity across 15m, 30m, 1H, 4H, D, W and Q. Its page was last updated in July 2021, and it has no alerts of its own (its author put alerts in a separate script) and no targets or stops.
If that is what you are missing, here are the free, open-source alternatives. We make the first one; the rest are described as their own pages describe them, checked on 2026-10-23.
TheStrat Suite
Use it if you want the trade drawn and alerted, not just labeled. It detects 2-1-2, 3-1-2, 2-2, 3-2 and outside-bar setups and Failed 2s on up to six timeframes, draws the trigger, magnitude and exhaustion targets and a stop for each, filters by full timeframe continuity (FTFC), and sends one alert with the combo, prices and FTFC state. It is the closest thing to "Strat Assistant plus levels and alerts".
What Strat Assistant still does that the Suite doesn't: a number printed under every candle. The Suite shows candle types in its data table, its combo labels and optional bar coloring instead. Many traders run both.

The Strat [LuxAlgo]
Use it if you want candle numbers with more analysis: a custom combo you type in gets boxed on the chart, pivots are marked with their combos, Pivot Machine Guns are highlighted, and a dashboard counts candle types across timeframes. It has alerts for candle numbers, combos and PMGs. It does not draw targets or stops. Script page
Strat Dashboard [TFO]
Use it if you want a compact table: the recent candle sequence, up to 10 tracked signals including reversals, continuity across up to three timeframes, the SSS 50% rule, and EMA/VWAP position, with alerts on selected reversals. Script page
